
The Founding (1876 - 1899)
1876 - The Orlok Oil Company is founded in Covington, Tennessee by Orlok Holiday.
1877 - Orlok Oil Company begins drilling operation outside of Tiptonville, Tennessee.
1878 - Orlok Oil Company strikes oil.
1881 - Orlok Oil Company purchases Tiptonville. Renamed Holiday City, and the surrounding area the Holiday Oil fields.
Orlok Electric is formed. Begins producing electricity for Holiday City through oil-fired power plants.
1885 - Holiday Risk Management is formed.
1886 - Orlok Oil Company discovers a vast system of caverns underneath Holiday City.
1887- Orlok Shafting & Gravel Excavation Company is formed.
1889 - Holiday Oil Field produces 45% of the global oil supply, Orlok Gravel Quarry produces 90% of the global gravel supply.

1890 - Sherman Antitrust Act is passed into law by congress. Orlok Shafting & Gravel Excavation temporarily slows production of gravel.
1899 - Orlok Oil Company, Orlok Shafting & Gravel Excavation Co., and Orlok Electric are merged to form the Orlok Extraction Company. Headquartered in Holiday City. Focus shifts to expanding into Kentucky & Arkansas.

The Progressive Age (1908 - 1948)
1908 - Orlok Holiday is arrested after participating in an illegal poker tournament. Shifts his focus to providing safe means of entertainment to American citizens.
1916 - Holiday Oil Field is depleted of oil. Focus is moved entirely to gravel extraction, and is renamed to Holiday Gravel Field.

1918 - Orlok Holiday purchases North Memphis Savings Bank as new home for Holiday Insurance Company. Operates as an illegal club & casino.
1919 - Congress passes 18th amendment into law, banning the sale and consumption of alcohol, taking effect one year later.
1922 - Orlok Extraction Company expands oil operations to Mississippi and Alabama.
1928 - Law enforcement raid Holiday Insurance Company. Holiday is arrested and charged with racketeering, illegal gambling, illegal sale and distribution of alcohol, fraud, conspiracy, and bribery.

1932 - Orlok Holiday stands before congress, pleading to repeal the 18th amendment and to legalize gambling across the United States. Proposes 21st Amendment, “Right to be Entertained”.
1933 - 21st amendment, “Repeal of Prohibition” is passed. Holiday speaks out against congress for ignoring the entirety of the issue.
1938 - Orlok Casino opens new location in Las Vegas, several years following the legalization of gambling in Nevada. Club Orlok opens five more locations in New York City, Nashville, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Chicago.
1941 - Orlok Holiday forms the Orlok Motion Picture Corporation as a way to provide cheap entertainment to families at home.
Sam Spade: Ace Detective is released to critical acclaim. Holiday’s breakout role.
Orlok Extraction Company provides oil to the US military in the fight against fascism.
1943 - Sam Spade Ace Detective: The Return of Fat Cat is released.
1946 - Orlok Holiday runs for senate seat. Wins with an overwhelming majority of the votes.

1947 - Senator Holiday proposes the 22nd amendment, the Freedom of Entertainment Amendment:
Section 1: “After ten days from the ratification of this article, the operation, facilitation, and participation in gambling, not limited to casinos, sports betting, and lotteries thereof in the United States and territories subject to the jurisdiction thereof is hereby permitted.”
Section 2: “Congress and state authorities shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. Gambling and entertainment establishments and platforms shall be exempt from taxation and regulations.”
Section 3: “This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress.”
1948 - The 22nd amendment is passed into law, and gambling is made legal across the United States.
Orlok Holiday resigns from the United States senate.
Orlok Holiday purchases land in New Jersey, Missouri, and Minnesota, and Louisiana for future devlopment of casinos.

Slow Expansion (1951 - 1977)
1951 - Orlok Extraction Company expands oil and gravel operations to Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
1953 - Sam Spade Ace Detective 2 is released.
1955 - Orlok Casino opens in New Orleans, LA as well as Caruthersville, MO.

1956 - Holiday Gravel Field is completely depleted of gravel. Holiday City is shut down after seventy-five profitable years. Workers are relocated, and the city is closed to the public.
1958 - Orlok Holiday creates the Orlok Communications Company, seeking to infiltrate the broadcast industry.

1962 - Orlok Casino in Las Vegas undergoes massive renovation. The casino floor is greatly expanded, and the hotel grows from 12 floors to 28.
1965 - Oil extraction in Nebraska comes to a halt after discovering settlement of 'mole people' deep underground.
1966 - Holiday hires 'mole people' to dig for gravel and clear way for drills in Nebraska.
1969 - With the success of the moon landing, Orlok Holiday expresses interest in space entertainment and the possibility of an 'interstellar casino' orbiting the planet in the future.
1972 - Orlok Holiday sees potential in consumer electronics, as well as computing for the future of the entertainment industry. Orlok Interactive is formed.

1973 - Oil demand skyrockets. Orlok Extraction Company hits record high oil sales.
Holiday urges that 'mole people' should be protected under the Equal Employement Opportunity Act of 1972
1975 - Orlok Holiday sees huge potential in home video formats. Strikes deal with JVC to create the first video rental company: Orlok Entertainment LLC.

1977 - With the success of Orlok Entertainment and other comapnies, Orlok Holiday conceives the ‘Multi-Industry Corporate Octo-Expansion’ model.

Octo-Expansion (1978 - 2008)
1978 - Orlok Holiday purchases 11-story office building in Memphis, TN to serve as future headquarters for Orlok Entertainment LLC. as well as its subsidiaries.

Sam Spade Ace Detective: Dirty Dealings releases as the first direct-to-video film. Exclusively available for rental in Orlok Entertainment stores.
1979 - Orlok Entertainment grows to 56 locations across 46 US states.
Orlok Casino opens a new location in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
1981 - Orlok Interactive releases OrlokDOS v.1.0
1982 - Orlok Entertainment LLC. becomes an overarching holding company for all companies owned by Orlok Holiday.
Orlok Extraction Company is renamed to Orlok Extraction Co. & Associated Companies

Holiday Logging & Mining Company, Holiday Power & Light, O.E. Holiday Railway Company, and Holiday Risk Management are reorganized into Orlok Extraction Co. & Associated Companies.
Orlok Interactive releases the Orlok Interactive GX-96 Home Computer System
1984 - Orlok Interactive introduces OrlokOS v.1.0.0, their first GUI operating system.
Orlok Extraction Co. & Associated Companies reduce air pollution from oil-fired power plants by 10%.
1985 - Holiday Gaming & Leisure Properties is formed as a holding company for Orlok Casino and Club Orlok, as well as any future entertainment property ventures.

Holiday City reopens to the public as the Holiday City Museum & Memorial, dedicated to the thousands lost over the years to oil & gravel extraction incidents.

1988 - Orlok Entertainment is voted ‘Fastest Growing Company’ by Business Monthly.
1989 - Orlok Interactives releases the Orlok Interactive 386 Personal Computer

1991 - Orlok Sports is formed.

1993 - Orlok Holiday approaches Sega of America with interest in entering the growing video game industry, proposing a joint venture with Orlok Interactive to produce an arcade-level console for the home.
1995 - The deal between Orlok Interactive and Sega falls through. Holiday reassures fans that Orlok Interactive will continue to pursue the creation of the ultimate game system.
2000 - The Orlok Interactive Omnisystem is released. The first console to have DVD playback, as well as wireless controllers, and guaranteed to never become obsolete. It utilized the Orlok Interactive Omnidisc format, able to hold up to 18 gigabytes of data.

2003 - Orok Entertainment is now the 8th largest company in the entertainment industry, with revenues over $9.8 billion, and over 100,000 employees.

The Modern Era (2006 - Present)
2006 - Orlok Holiday notices waning interest in home video rental. Shuts down all 4,398 Orlok Entertainment rental locations, moving all inventory to various warehouses across the nation.

2008 - Orlok Entertainment Liquidation is formed. Selling off remaining stock of home video formats and players via an online storefront.

2023 - Orlok Entertainment opens www.orloktopia.neocities.org, an online hub for Orlok properties and additional content for consumers to interact with.
Holiday Gaming & Leisure Properties acquires Sunshine Tower from GMT Properties. It is converted to Orlok Tower: Casino & Resort and is a resounding success; Albeit, short-lived, as a legal error led to the termination of the acquisition.

2024 - Orlok Holiday brokers a deal with GMT Properties to establish an Orlok Casino location in the shopping plaza of Sunshine Tower.
2025 - Orlok Extraction Company purchases 178 acres of forest in the Pacific Northwest.
Orlok Entertainment continues to innovate and expand, on track to becoming the number one entertainment company in the United States!
